We are excited to offer this GP Update Refresher course in person in London (St Thomas' Hospital) and as Live Stream from 16-19 January 2025.

In 4 days, the course format offers a structured and practice-oriented update on all relevant subject areas of general medicine. The neutral and comprehensive programme is tailored to your specific needs in everyday practice life.

Participate on-site or from home via livestream (transmission in real time) and receive up to 30 CPD points. You can participate interactively in the question and answer sessions.

Accreditation

An application will be sent in due time. In the past the CPD Certification Service UK has accredited the GP training with 30 CPD credits.

Neutrality and transparency

The accredited scientific programme is neutral and takes place without any influence from the industry. Support from industry (symposium) is provided only outside the accredited training programme and is always declared and disclosed as such.

Room: Governors' Hall (South Wing). Governor’s Hall is located within St Thomas’ Hospital, South Wing, enter by the Main Entrance. 

Tube

The nearest tube stations are:  

Westminster - District, Circle and Jubilee lines (10 minutes' walk)  

Waterloo - Bakerloo, Jubilee and Northern lines (15 minutes' walk)

Lambeth North - Bakerloo line (15 minutes’ walk)

Train

Waterloo and Waterloo East are the nearest railway stations, and a 10-15 minutes' walk away.

Victoria and Charing Cross are 20–30 minutes' walk away.  

Bus

Allow 15-20 minutes to get from the bus stop to where you need to be in the hospital. The following bus routes serve St Thomas':  

12, 53, 148, 159, 211, 453, C10 - stop at Westminster Bridge Road  

77, 507, N44 - stop at Lambeth Palace Road  

3, 344, C10, N3 - stop at Lambeth Road (15 minutes' walk)  

76, 341, 381, RV1 - stop at York Road  

Parking

St Thomas' Hospital is located in the Congestion Charging zone and the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ).

Parking is very limited at the hospital and there's often a queue. Please use public transport whenever possible.

Our car park is open 24 hours a day and costs £3.20 per hour. There's more information on the parking at St Thomas' Hospital page.
